AVSL State relays - 14 Dec

OPEN Men 3 x Shot put

Today we had a Waverley team in the state open 3x shot put relay. It’s not quite a relay as we know it, but there’s teams of 3 with the best throws of each added together. Representing us were Shane Carstairs, Greg Carstairs and Jack Ashcroft.

Our boys threw well and pulled off a state Silver medal with Shane 3rd best overall and Jack 5th best. That’s back to back silver medals for our Waverley shot put team.
